Anna slept for me the entire time! In fact, we had to wake her up to make her eat. I love sleepy babies! This session was so sweet because the dad was in the Marines and had brought all sorts of military stuff to photograph her with. I love all her pictures and I hope the parents love them too!

How precious is sweet baby Colbie? I just adore her family. Her mom is a kindergarten teacher and her dad is a San Diego firefighter who just came back from fighting the California wildfires in Yosemite.

It’s been a few months since I’ve photographed newborn twins so I was super excited when I got the email from Jennifer who was pregnant with twins. The fun part was that she didn’t want to know the gender so I was biting my nails waiting for them to be born so I could start planning. She sent me a photo from the hospital and told me that it was a boy and a girl and my ideas starting flowing! I feel so blessed to part of this family’s special memories.
This beautiful mama-to-be is expecting her second baby girl soon. We went out to Rancho Penasquitos Canyon to document her family’s joyful addition. The sunset was just perfect and her toddler was the cutest. When there is a toddler along for the maternity photography sessions, they become a fun-filled family session. In the canyon, we often see wildlife like bunnies or coyotes running which makes it fun for the little ones. This particular location has a ranch house with barns, goats and chickens which makes for nice rustic shots.
What a gorgeous baby girl and she slept so peacefully for me the whole time! I love my job!
